Requests generation of the
SIMPACK
.fbi file containing flexible body information
for SIMPACK analysis.
- 0 (Default)
- 1
-
- Writes CMS Matrices (stiffness, mass and
damping) to the SIMPACK
.fbi file.
- Writes modes and eigenvectors of the SE to the
SIMPACK
.fbi file.
- 2
- This option writes out all the information specified in
PARAM,
SIMPACK, 1 (above)
and additionally writes model information (including
node sets) to the SIMPACK .fbi
file. 2
- 3
- This option writes out all the information specified in
PARAM,
SIMPACK, 2 (above)
to the SIMPACK
.fbi file and additionally includes
the following:
- Writes the Interior point recovery GRID SET to
the SIMPACK
.fbi file. 4
- Writes the Interior point recovery matrix to the
to the SIMPACK
.fbi file.
- 4
- This option writes out all the information specified in
PARAM,
SIMPACK, 3 (above)
to the SIMPACK
.fbi file and additionally includes
the following:
- Writes rotational forces to the
SIMPACK
.fbi file.
- 5
- This option writes out all information specified in
PARAM,
SIMPACK, 4 to the
SIMPACK
.fbi file and additionally includes
the following:
- Writes diagonal mass matrix of the full model to
the SIMPACK
.fbi file. This is required
for calculating inertial invariants in rotating
bodies.

Comments
- Refer to the SIMPACK section of Create Output for Third Party Software in the User
Guide for more information.
- If PARAM,
SIMPACK, 2 is specified in conjunction with
the MODEL I/O Options Entry, only the
model data specified in the MODEL entry is written to the
SIMPACK
.fbi file.
- Units can be specified during the
creation of the SIMPACK flex body .fbi file
using DTI,UNITS.
- A specific SET of grid points can
be requested for output via the DISPLACEMENT I/O Options Entry for PARAM, SIMPACK,
3/4.
