matches the identification number on the
MAT3 entry. (Integer > 0) |
|
T(EX), T(ETH), T(EZ) | TABLEDior TABLEMi entry identification
numbers for Young's moduli in the x,
and z directions. Default = blank (Integer ≥ 0 or blank) |

numbers for Poisson's ratios in the x
,
z and zx directions. Default = blank (Integer ≥ 0 or blank) |

TABLEDi or TABLEMi entry identification
number for the mass density. Default = blank (Integer ≥ 0 or blank) |
|
T(XTH), T(GZX), T(THZ) | A
TABLEDi or TABLEMi entry identification
number for the shear moduli in the x
,
z and zx directions. Default = blank (Integer ≥ 0 or blank) |

number for the damping coefficient. Default = blank (Integer > 0 or blank) |
Comments
- Fields 3, 4, and so on of this entry correspond, field-by-field, to fields 3, 4, and so on of the MAT3 entry referenced in field 2. The value in a particular field of the MAT3 entry is replaced or modified by the table referenced in the corresponding field of this entry. In the example, EX is modified; TABLEDi 32, RHO is modified by TABLEDi 19; and GE is modified by TABLEDi 52.
- Blank or zero entries mean that there is no frequency dependence of the field on the MAT3 entry. Any quantity modified by this entry must have a value on the MAT3 entry.
- In Modal Frequency Response Analysis, the frequency-dependency is only used in the frequency response part of the solution, not in the modal analysis part of the solution.
- OptiStruct accepts both MATF3 and MAT3F for this entry.
- A matching TABLEDi ID is checked first, and if no such entry exists, then a TABLEMi ID match is checked. If a matching table ID does not exist for both entries, the run errors out.
- This card is represented as a material in HyperMesh.
