Definitions
Field | Contents | SI Unit Example |
---|---|---|
SID | Identification number of the support
set. 1 No default (Integer > 0) |
|
ID# |
|
|
C# | Component numbers. No default (Any unique combination, with no embedded blanks, of the integers 1 through 6 for grid points; or 0 for scalar points) |
|
GSET | Indicates that the G/GSETID field is identified as a SET of Grid points at which the SUPORT1 constraints are applied. |
Comments
- SUPORT1 Bulk Data Entries will not be used in the model unless specifically selected in the Subcase Information section by the SUPORT1 Subcase Information Entry.
- SUPORT Bulk Data Entries are applied in all subcases.
- The degrees-of-freedom specified on SUPORT1 will be combined with those on the SUPORT entry.
- The SUPORT/SUPORT1 entries contain a single "P", spelling them as "SUPPORT/1" using two P's is incorrect.
- Degrees-of-freedom specified on this entry cannot be defined as dependent degrees-of-freedom on rigid body elements or constrained using SPCi entries or PS on the GRID entries.
- This card is represented as a constraint load in HyperMesh.
