CNTLCK

Bulk Data Entry Defines parameters for the contact (S2S and N2S) lock in the preloaded Linear Analysis subcase.

This entry should be referenced by CNTLCK Subcase Information Entry in the preloaded Nonlinear Static Analysis subcase (small and large displacement analysis are supported). Then the contact lock is applied to the preloaded Linear Analysis subcase which is preloaded by the corresponding Nonlinear Static Analysis subcase that contains the CNTLCK Subcase Information Entry.

CNTLCK ID PARAM VALUE

The following continuation line (beginning with the CNTINT flag) is used to define another set of lock parameters, which locally overrides the set of parameters above, and applies locally on a specific contact interface (CTID). It can be repeated as required.

Definitions

Field Contents SI Unit Example
ID Each CNTLCK Bulk Data Entry should have a unique ID.

No default (Integer > 0)

PARAM Flag indicating how contact interference is applied.

MINPRS0 – indicates the critical pressure value below which contact is considered as open for Linear Perturbation Analysis.

VALUE The value assigned to PARAM.
Real

CNTINT Defines the start of a continuation line used to specify another set of interference parameters, which overrides the set of parameters defined above, for a specific contact interface (CTID). It can be repeated as required.
CTID Contact interface identification number.

No default (Integer > 0)

Comments

  1. The CNTLCK Bulk Data Entry is selected by the CNTLCK Subcase Information Entry.
