Comments

  1. Fixed reference frame method is adopted for 3D rotor dynamic analysis via the ROTOR Bulk Data Entry.
  2. Supported element types:
    • 0D elements : CONM1, CONM2
    • 1D elements : CBEAM, CBAR
    • 3D elements : CHEXA, CPENTA, CTETRA, CPYRA
  3. The THRU option is supported in lists of elemental set IDs, element IDs and property IDs. Different LTYPE lists can be used together.
  4. 1D rotors can be defined via the ROTORG Bulk Data Entry.
  5. For more information, refer to Rotor Dynamics in the User Guide.
