Description

Sets the maximum number of history states to allow.

Inputs

count
The number of history states to allow.
  • 0 - Disables all history recording, including potential legacy use cases.
  • -1 - Indicates unlimited.

Example

To set the maximum number of history steps to allow to 100:

*sethistorylimit 100

Errors

Incorrect usage results in a Tcl error. To detect errors, you can use the catch command:
