Creates string metadata on the specified mark of entities.

Description
Creates string metadata on the specified mark of entities.
Inputs
- entity_type
- The type of entities contained on the mark.
- mark_id
- The ID of the mark containing the entities to which the metadata will be added. Valid values are 1 and 2.
- name
- The name by which the metadata will be referenced.
- value
- The string value assigned to the metadata.
Example
To add metadata named String_Val with the value "Warped elements" to elements
1-100:
*createmark elems 1 1-100
*metadatamarkstring elems 1 "String_Val" "Warped elements"Errors
Incorrect usage results in a Tcl error. To detect
errors, you can use the catch
command:
