hm_marklength

Returns the number of entities on the specified mark.

Syntax

hm_marklength entity_type mark_id

Description

This command returns the number of entities on the specified mark.

Inputs

entity_type
The type of entity mark to query.
mark_id
The ID of the mark. Valid values are 1 and 2.

Example

To count the components on mark 2:

hm_marklength comps 2

Errors

Incorrect usage results in a Tcl error. To detect errors, you can use the catch command:
if { [ catch {command_name...} ] } {
   # Handle error
}
