hm_gettimestepaddedmass

Returns time step added mass for Radioss and Dyna.

Syntax

hm_gettimestepaddedmass entitytype=<value> mark=<mark_id> ?definition=<value>? ?value=<value>?

Returns the following value of time step added mass for the specified entity.

entitytype=<value>: The input entity type.
mark=<mark_id>: The ID for the mark containing the input entities. Valid values are 1 and 2.
definition=<value>: The time step definition:; 0 – Calculated from control card; 1 – User defined
value=<value>: The time step value. Valid for definition set to 1.

To get time step added mass of all the components in the model:

*createmark comps 1 all
hm_gettimestepaddedmass entitytype=comps mark=1

To get the time step added mass for a user defined time step of 0.005:

*createmark comps 1 all
hm_gettimestepaddedmass entitytype=comps mark=1 definition=1 value=0.005

Incorrect usage results in a Tcl error. To detect errors, you can use the catch command:

if { [ catch {command_name...} ] } {
   # Handle error
}
