ASSEMBLY Activates the creation of an assembly of parts.  
GLOBNAME Name of the assembly should match the name of the global part in the Bulk Data section.

Comments

  1. If an ASSEMBLY entry is input in the model, then a minimum of one INSTANCE I/O Options Entry should be present.
  2. Only one ASSEMBLY entry can be present in a model.
  3. When ASSEMBLY entry is present, the reading of the Bulk Data section is different.
    • Without ASSEMBLY entry, each part defined in the input deck is used in the model.
    • When ASSEMBLY/INSTANCE entries are present, each part named on ASSEMBLY and INSTANCE entries are used, potentially multiple times, and parts with unknown names (which are not listed on any ASSEMBLY/INSTANCE cards) are skipped.
