The .rengy file is an ASCII results file.
File Creation
This file is only created for Rotordynamics subcases using Direct/Modal Complex Eigenvalue Analysis. Creation of this file is controlled by the RENERGY Output Entry.
File Contents

File Format
The .rengy file has the following format:
For each MODE NUMBER, the following header is used:

Where,
- COMPLEX EIGENVALUE = #
- A keyword identifying that the next two fields show the real and imaginary parts of the Complex Eigenvalue for the corresponding MODE NUMBER.
- ROTOR NUMBER
- Rotor number for which the energy values are printed.
- PERCENTAGE STRAIN ENERGY
- The rotor identified by ROTOR NUMBER as a percentage of the rotor energy versus the total energy of all elements.
- PERCENTAGE KINETIC ENERGY
- The rotor identified by ROTOR NUMBER as a percentage of the rotor energy versus the total energy of all elements.
