Loads and Constraints
It displays loads and boundary conditions, sets, optimization and automation objects.
Right click options:
- Loads and Constraints: Create Text Input, Import contacts (used to import contact definition file), Import Flux Bulk data, Collapse All, Expand All, Sort and Delete.
- Load cases: Sort, Delete, Move Up, Move Down.
- Show Contour, Hide Contour for loads having table details.
- Show Entities, Show Support Entities and Hide Support Entities for Sets.
- Show Elements for Sets| Solid Element - Input Entity: Face.
- Contact: Show Slave Nodes, Set Master/Slave Surface Name, Export Contact Definition File, Convert to OptiStruct and Contact Manager.
- Coordinate Manager, Convection Manager, Radiation Manager, Load step Manager and Thread Pretension Manager supported in right click menu of Coordinate, Convection, Radiation, Load case and Thread Pretension tree items respectively.
- Sets
- Abaqus *.inp files can be used as template files for creating sets. The
following Abaqus cards will be used for creating sets.
- *Nset will be created as node set.
- *Elset will be created as shell element set and solid element set.
- *Surface will be created as solid element face set.

- Solid Pretension:
- Pretension Manager is used to review and edit how the pretension load and adjustment values vary with each load case.
- Create unique pretension for each face: This option creates separate pretension for each face when Abaqus or OptiStruct pretensions are created with multiple faces.
- Update Shape option in right click of Free shape design space tree item, is used to import the *.grid file from free shape optimization result and update the shape of the mode.
- Display and Hide Excitations option is added for loads to visualize the excitation and its point forces as vectors for the Modal, Direct, Coupled (Structural, Thermal and Electrical Analyse) and E-Motor Acoustic solutions with Optistruct solver.
