Custom Default Values

The user could customize the defaults values for few dialogs that are being displayed whenever the dialog is opened.

This is done by specifying the required default values in SimLabDefaultValues.xml which is available in Application settings directory\simlab (File > Preference > Application > General)

The SimLabDefaultValues.xml contains the dialog DOM with empty values as shown

The Custom default values would take higher preference and would override the value remembrance in the dialog, as well as the values stored in the database (Surface Mesh and Tet Mesh).

It is supported for few options highlighted in the following dialogs
  1. Mesh > 2D Mesh > Surface Mesh > Tri Element Type
  2. Mesh > Verify > Quality Check (New)
  3. Mesh > 3D Mesh > Tet Mesh
