Restart

Flow Solution > Right click > Restart

Restart command is used to restart the simulation from a previously solved problem. It loads the data of the last time step of the last run of the current problem.

Features

1. Right click the flow solution to restart. Restart solution will be displayed only when the solution has some results.
2. Restart will create a duplicate solution to perform the operation with the default restart options in the solution parameters.
3. The key parameters required for restart will be displayed in the browser for easy visualization.
4. User can edit the values by right click the solution parameters of restart solution.

   

   

   Note: Restart is supported for the below solutions,

   1. Restart from a steady flow solution
   2. Restart from a transient flow solution
   3. Restart from a steady simulation as transient
