Cartesian Refinement Mesh Control

Introduction

Cartesian refinement mesh control is used to control the mesh size on the selected bodies. It will be considered on creating cartesian hex mesh.

Mesh size in X, Y and Z direction

It is used to control the mesh size in X, Y and Z direction.

On creating the cartesian hex mesh, bodies assigned with cartesian refinement mesh control will be meshed with specified mesh size in X, Y, Z direction and rest of the bodies will be meshed with the specified values in cartesain hex mesh.

For example, the cartesian refinement mesh control of 0.25mm mesh size in X, Y and Z direction is applied on the highlighted body as shown below and rest of the bodies are meshed with cartesian hex mesh size of 1mm.
