The following are the circuit components supported as of SimLab:

Resistor, inductor, and capacitor components are used to define the RLC components of the circuit. The inputs are the resistance, inductance and capacitance along with the initial voltage values.



Note: For Magnetic AC 3D and
Supplied Conductors AC solutions the Capacitor component
needn't Initial Voltage, but only Capacitance value:
Current-Voltage characteristics
The Current Voltage characteristics for each of these different components is mentioned in the table below

where:
- U(t) is the voltage at the terminals of the component (in V)
- I(t) is the current flowing through the component (in A)
Tips and Tricks
- To modelize an "Open Circuit", a resistance with a big value (like 100 000 Ohm) can be connected.
