This dialog has the options used in importing Nastran input file.

Description

  • The Import nodes and elements only option is used the import only the model data. The various loads, constraints, connection and subcase data will be ignored during import.
  • The Split face option is used to break faces of the imported bodies using the specified feature angle. Elements will be grouped based on that angle and face will be created for the grouped elements.
  • The Create features option is used to extract the planar and cylindrical faces in the imported model.
  • The update model is used to update the topology of the model.
