This dialog has the options used in importing Abaqus input file.Description
- The Import nodes and elements only option is used the import only the model data. The various loads, constraints, connection and step data will be ignored during import.
- Import sets options used to create sets while importing Abaqus deck file.
- The Split face option is used to break faces of the imported bodies using the specified feature angle. Elements will be grouped based on that angle and face will be created for the grouped elements.
- The Create features option is used to extract the planar and cylindrical faces in the imported model.
- The update model is used to update the topology of the model.

- During import, the entites referred in the deck are checked for their corresponding definition. If any of the referred entities are undefined, a message with the list of undefined entities will be posted.
- Process as include file can be use to import only the nodes, elements and
sets in the file. The remaining data will be imported as text.
- This is used to replace the bodies in the solver input files, so that bodies and sets get updated with new body and all the rest of the data is preserved as text data.
- We can use the “Organize as sub model using include file structure” option to create sub assembly based on each include files, the body present in each include file will be added to the respective sub assembly.
