NonStructural Mass
This tool is used to apply non structural mass over the selected bodies. Non structural mass is the mass of the body which don't contribute any stiffness.
Description
Supported NonStructural Mass distribution types
- Total Mass - The mass value is distributed among either solid, shell or bar bodies.
- Mass per Volume - The mass value is applied for a unit volume of solid body.
- Mass per Area - The mass value is applied for a unit area of shell body.
- Mass Per Length - The mass value is applied for a unit length of bar body.
Note: For OptiStruct solver, the input support is extended to give
either bodies or faces or edges.
