How to select surfaces using CAD Features?

Introduction

With Select Feature option, you can select desired feature from solid and define mesh control. This is fast and easy way to define mesh controls.

Steps

1. Click on the solid and right click.

   

2. Click on Select Features.
3. Pick desired feature you want to pick from selected solid.

   

4. Lets pick Fillet radius from 0 to 5mm radius.
5. Click on Apply to select.

   

6. All highlighted surface have fillet of radius from 0 to 5 mm.
7. Close this panel by clicking on OK.
8. You can group these selected surfaces into desired name.

   

9. Lets name it as "Fillet_0_5mm".

   

10. If you go to group tab, you can pick this group and retain the selected surface again.
11. You can also use these group to create mesh controls.
