How to create Vent boundary conditions easily?

Selecting edges from part could be lengthy process. Follow below steps for automatically selecting outer edges of a part.

Step-by-step-guide

1. Click on Application > Molding > Simulation Setup > Vent icon

   

2. Click on Edge selection icon and expand the selection.

3. Select "Edge loop".

   

4. Select one of the edges near parting line.

   

5. SimLab will automatically select all edges around the part.

   

   

6. Click on OK button to accept selection and save vent BC.
