Create Link Attachments to FE Absorb Connectors

If you have an existing mesh but no connector, you can create connectors and attachments by selecting the mesh manually and defining the control type, or automatically where HyperMesh finds any mesh that matches the control type.

1. From the Connectors ribbon, Connect Attachments tool group, click the FE Absorb Connectors tool.

2. Click on the guide bar to choose a detection method and enter a tolerance value
   If set to Manual, use the selector to choose elements.
3. Select an attachment control type from the drop-down menu.
   If you select Undefined, the connector will be created without a control.
4. On the guide bar, click one of the following:
   • - Apply and stay in the tool
   • - Apply and close the tool
   • - Exit the tool without applying
