FE Geometry

- Connector Preferences

Auto Area

Use the Auto Area tool to identify locations to create area connectors between components and parts. This process works on mesh.

From the Connectors ribbon, Area tool group, click the Auto Area tool.

Select the parts to automatically add connectors to.
Click on the guide bar and define the following options.

Tolerance Type

The type of distance to be used.

Proximity Tolerance

The distance between the parts.

Shell Thickness

The thickness of the parts is used.

Add on

Adds an extra portion to the shell thickness.

Multiplier

Multiplies the shell thickness by the specified amount.

Search tolerance

The distance between the parts.
Click on the guide bar.

The created output is connectors between the selected hole type taking into account the associated parameters. The connectors are in the unrealized state.
