SMT Direction Mark

SMT direction marks placement checking item on special layer.

The SMT Board Misarrangement dialog contains the following sections:
  • SMT Direction Mark Definition: Choose a layer where the SMT mark is located.
    • Layer Selection: Select the layer from layer list.
    • Component Group
      • SMT Direction Mark: Select the SMT direction mark from the component list.
  • Checking
    • Placement Layer : Check the SMT direction mark placed layer.
      • Same on Specified Component : Check the same layer as the specified component, if the SMT Direction Mark does not exist in the same layer, it is fail.
        • Specifying Component : Select specific component.
        • Exceptional Component : Exclude specific component.
      • Top : If the SMT Direction Mark does not exist in the Top layer, it is fail.
      • Bottom : If the SMT Direction Mark does not exist in the Bottom layer, it is fail.
      • All : If the SMT Direction Mark does not exist in the Top and Bottom layer, it is fail.
    • Mark Direction
      • Relative Direction
        • Horizontally Long Board : Define SMT direction Mark on a horizontally long PCB design.
        • Vertically Long Board : Define SMT direction Mark on a vertically long PCB design.
        • Square Board : Define SMT direction Mark on square PCB design.
      • Absolute Direction : Select SMT direction Mark without considering relativity.
      • Insertion Mark : Check if the Insertion Mark (Pusher Mark) exists on the opposite side of the SMT Direction Mark.
      • Mirrored Direction on the Bottom Layer : When selecting the check box, the SMT direction Mark of the bottom layer becomes mirrored with the top layer.
