General
Number of cores for meshing
User can specify the number of cores for meshing that can be used by SimLab for meshing process. Time taken for meshing can be reduced by using multi-core meshing. Multi-core meshing is supported for Initial meshing (Parasolid, STEP, CATIA (imported only through File | Import | CATIA - Direct) and SOLIDWORKS), Surface meshing (Parasolid, STEP, CATIA (imported only through File | Import | CATIA - Direct) and SOLIDWORKS) and Volume Meshing.
This feature can also be accessed with the environment variable named SIMLAB_NUMCORES_MESH.
Enter tolerance in "Mesh | Verify | Intersection"
It is used to specify the tolerance in Intersection tool.
Remesh
Uniform mesh on edges during local re-mesh
This option is used to attain uniform mesh size on edges during local re-mesh.
Number of Tet-Element layers considered during local mesh modification
This option controls the number of Tet-Element layers that has to be modified when local mesh modification is done on surface of the solid body.
