Use Ansys element types

Turn on this toggle to define the required Ansys element types, using Analysis | Property.

Create separate property for each selected body

Turn on this toggle to create separate property for each body when multiple bodies are selected, using Analysis | Property.

Contact

Create single contact between two bodies

This option is useful in reducing contact objects in LBC Browser. If this option is enabled, all the face pairs that are identified while creating contact between two bodies will be grouped as single contact.

Show penetration contact type in "Analysis | Contact"

Turn on this toggle to enable Penetration option in Contact face type.

Write main and secondary surface name using contact name

Turn on this toggle to write surface names as "Contact Name"_Master and "Contact Name"_Slave in Abaqus deck.

Show solid elements in Review Contact tool

Turn on this toggle to show the solid elements, which are connected with the contact surfaces. By default, it shows contact surfaces alone.

Create individual Surface interaction and Press fit for each contact pair, when using Auto Contact - All bodies and Selected bodies options

Turn on this toggle, will create individual surface interaction and press fit for each contacts created using Auto contact dialog.

Review Contact Tool - Show Abaqus interaction and press-fit parameters

Turn on this toggle to show the surface interaction and Press-fit parameters also in contact manager. By default, it shows contact parameters alone.

Options

Create unique local coordinate for each Permas thread pretension

If toggle is ON - It creates separate local coordinate for each Permas thread pretension.

If toggle is OFF - The thread pretension created will utilize the existing coordinate with the same Z axis orientation.

If no coordinate is found then a new coordinate will be created, with Z axis pointing from bolt head to bolt bottom.
