Simplify Rotor
Introduction
This tool simplifies the rotor and magnets and facilitates the extraction of air region bodies within the rotor components. It is supported only for the Parasolid model imported with “Save geometry in database”.
Rotor body
Select a rotor body as reference input.
Magnet bodies
Select all the magnet bodies within the reference rotor.
Connect magnet and rotor
By default, the magnet height gets adjusted with the rotor height.
Turn on this toggle to close the gap between the magnet side faces and the rotor based on the tolerance. This gap is closed by aligning the magnet side faces to the rotor.
Simplify shaft body
Turn on this toggle to simplify the shaft body as a perfect cylinder.
Simplify instance rotors
Turn on this toggle to simplify and extract the air regions for all the instances of the given rotor.
- Simplify visible bodies only
Turn the toggle ON to simplify only the visible instance bodies.
Delete input bodies / Suppress input bodies
Turn on this toggle to delete or suppress the base bodies that got simplified.
