  Direct integration of native results readers into HyperMesh allows you to perform results visualization on the model.
  - Results Database
    A results database contains translated results files, which are read into HyperMesh for post-processing.
  - Import Result Files
    Import analysis result files to create plots, query results, and so on.

    Use the Results Browser to review and manage results and plots.

    Use the Contour tool to visualize result data by coloring entities by value, allowing for easy identification of maximums and minimums throughout the model.

    Use the Vector tool to draw arrows such that the direction in which the arrow points is the direction of the vector and the length of the arrow is its magnitude.

  - Plot Results from Legend
    Change properties directly in the legend to drive result plotting and change data type, component, layer, averaging method, and so on. This is possible in contour, vector, tensor, and marker plot legends.

Free Body Diagram (FBD)

FBD also consists of a set of tools to:

Create and view free-body section forces and moments
Show trace plots
Generate .fbd files to create potato and VMT plots in HyperGraph 2D
Generate reports, loads and fields from free-body forces, moments, displacements and rotations

Restriction: Only available in the Nastran, ANSYS, Abaqus, and OptiStruct solvers .

Note:

The result file must have stored nodal forces output. For OptiStruct and Nastran the OUTPUT request is GPFORCES. For Abaqus it is NFORC and for ANSYS it is NLOAD.
Before using any of the free-body tools, result files must be imported.
