Plot Campbell Diagram
Create a Campbell diagram.
You need a modal rotordynamic analysis with results to complete this task.
- In the Project Tree, select a Modal rotordynamic analysis branch to open the Analysis Workbench.

In the Analysis Workbench, click
Diagrams.

Select Campbell diagram from the drop-down.
The Campbell diagram dialog shows the plot for all the complex eigen value modes.
- In the dialog, pick a point from one of the curves to see the Angular velocity with respect to Frequency in the legend.

To calculate the critical speeds, use Angular velocity multipliers. Input a
desired multiplier value and select Add.
A linear curve appears intersecting the possible modal curves. These intersection points are the critical speeds.
- Optional: Select Remove all to delete the multiplier curves.
- Optional: Click Save as to save the plot in image formats (.png, .bmp, .pdf)
