Axis Symmetric Mesh
Description
Partial or 360 degrees revolved axis-symmetric bodies, cyclic symmetry bodies, and screws can be HEX meshed automatically using this tool. Input can be FEM or CAD bodies.
Avoid spider wedge along axis
The output mesh can contain hex and wedge elements. Turn this toggle ON to avoid wedge elements along the axis of revolution.
Axis symmetric mesh output option for different inputs- FE Body: The input body will be replaced by the output mesh.
- CAD Body: The below dialog will prompt the user to select the output option if an equivalent mesh is already present. For more details, please refer Mesh output options for CAD body.
