ECAD Assembly Meshing
Description
This tool is used to create hex mesh for ECAD models. It has an option to split the board at middle into two components. Tie contact will be applied between the two split boards, and they will maintain matching mesh with their adjacent components or chips respectively.
Average element size
Defines the average element edge length for the mesh on the surfaces.
Minimum element size
The mesh will have no elements with an edge length smaller than the minimum element size.
Split board at middle to create matching mesh with top and bottom components
An option to split the board at middle into two components.
Allow quad mesh transition
“Allow quad mesh transition" option generates quad mesh with transition. For more details, please refer Allow Quad Mesh Transition.
Project to CAD
This option is used to project the nodes of the output bodies onto the corresponding CAD entity. For more details please refer Project to CAD.
