Edit Solution

Analysis > Electrostatic Loads > Edit Solution

Introduction

The Edit Solution button allows the user to assign all the meshed bodies to the solution.

The bodies to be assigned to the solution:
  • should be meshed with surface mesh or volume mesh
  • should belong to the same .gda model
Note: This is a dedicated feature for Analysis ribbon where the solution is created with or without mesh bodies. To have more details about the creation of the solution Electrostatic 2D, please refer to Electrostatic solution.

Steps

  1. Double click on the Solution in the Solution Browser
  2. Select all the meshed bodies:

    The outlines of all the bodies are displayed in red.

  3. Click on the OK button

All the bodies are now assigned to the solution.
