Net to Net

Check the clearance between net to net.

  • Laser Via Definition: If laser vias are used on the PCB design, it is able to check the clearance with certain value.
    • Maximum Hole Size: Define the via with maximum hole size that same and smaller holes will be recognized as a layer via.
    • Padstack List: Define the via using padstack name.
    • Padstack String: Define the via using string filter.
  • Option for Excluding Patterns within Component Area: If certain nets which are placed in component area can be excluded from checking.
    • Component Group Selection: Define the allowed component.
    • Component Area Definition: Can select excluding area for checking among Measurement Base, Component Outline Area (COC), Silkscreen.
  • FPCB Layer Definition: If PCB is mixed design as FPCB (Flexible PCB) and Rigid PCB together, it is able to check the clearance with certain value for FPCB. In this case, can define the FPCB layer for checking.
    • Layer Name or Layer Comment: Can define the FPCB layer information by layer name or comment of layer.
    • FPCB Layer Filter: Set the layer information.
  • Option for Checking Layers
    • Select the checking layer as All Layers or Individual Layer Setting (Top / Bottom / Inner / FPCB).
  • Checking: Can set the clearance value for layer types such as: All, Top and Bottom, Inner, FPCB layer.
    • Clearance between Pattern and Pattern: Set the value for checking clearance between pattern and pattern.
    • Clearance between Pattern and Copper-Pour: Set the value for checking clearance between pattern, which is line, and copper-pour, which is polygon shape.
    • Clearance between Copper-Pour and Copper-Pour: Set the value for checking clearance between copper-pour and copper pour.
    • Clearance between Pins (Pads): Set the value for checking clearance between Pin (Pad) and Pin (Pad).
    • Clearance between Pattern and Via: Set the value for checking clearance between the pattern and via.
    • Clearance between Pattern and Laser Via: Set the value for checking clearance between the pattern and laser via.
    • Clearance between Copper-Pour and Via: Set the value for checking clearance between the copper-pour and via.
    • Clearance between Copper-Pour and Laser Via: Set the value for checking clearance between the copper-pour and laser via.
    • Clearance between Via and Via: Set the value for checking clearance between via and via.
    • Clearance between Patterns and Pad: Can check a clearance between patterns and pad.
      • Excluding-Components: Selected component will be excluded from following two checking items.
      • Clearance between Pattern and Pad: Set the value for checking clearance between the pattern and pad.
      • Clearance between Copper-Pour and Pad: Set the value for checking clearance between the copper-pour and pad.
