The tire can then be transferred to EDEM through MotionView-EDEM coupling interface. PM-FlexTire software is available as an Altair Partner product under the Altair Units licensing system.

How to Use FIALA Tire

The FIALA tire with and without relaxation effects can be used with the AutoTire AutoEntity in MotionView by following the steps below:

Add an AutoTire in a MotionView session.
Resolve the attachments.
Select the Fiala Tire property file.
Select the Road property file.
The FIALA model with a single point contact method should only be used with flat road. If the tire property file contains a [CONTACT_COEFFICIENTS] block, then the following road surfaces can be used:
- Flat
- 2D and 3D Cleat
- CRG
- 3D Spline with single thread
