Description

Spring finger contacts are the perfect way to make low voltage electrical connections in all types of small, printed circuit board (PCB) applications. These spring parts are designed to make reliable contact between two PCB or from a PCB to the frame, in harsh conditions (vibration and humidity). This tool automates the setup to obtain the response of these spring parts under an enforced displacement. The created setup is ready to be solved. No additional inputs were required from the user to finish this setup.

Load Parameter:

    Spring finger body can be loaded along any direction.

  • Displacement:

    User had to input the displacement magnitude which will be enforced on the base plate body.

Mesh Parameter:
  • Number of elements:

    Based on this input, a base plate with a user-defined element count along the length and the width of the body is created.
