Race
Description
This tool is used to create bearing race for ball bearing, taper bearing and needle bearing using the given parameters. The race cross section type (outer or inner) can be selected and the corresponding geometry of the cross section is shown in the dialog box.
Steps
- Select the type of race (Inner or Outer).
- Select the bearing type (Ball, Taper or Needle bearing).
- Specify the chamfer, mesh size and circular divisions.
- Define/Modify the axis.
- Select the element type and model under which the bearing has to be created.
- Specify the parameters.
- Click Apply/Ok to create the bearing races.
