Results data can be post-processed using both HyperMesh and HyperView.
Results Data in HyperView
HyperView is a complete environment to visualize, query, and process results data.
Create Entities
Create and edit user-defined data type expressions, derived load cases, and systems. You can also plot a forming limit diagram, generate streamlines, track entities during animation, and create and import/export sets of entities.
Create Derived Results
The Expression Builder is a graphical user interface which allows user-defined data type expressions to be authored directly within HyperView.
Result Math
A result manipulation library that enables user-defined data types to be added to a result, and transitions complex data manipulation tasks from HyperView to a reusable, modifiable set of libraries that focus solely on result processing tasks.

Command Arguments and XML Processing

  - Working with Models
    Open animation files, measure various distances and angles between entities, and use the Results Browser to view the model structure and find, display, and edit entities.

    - Derived Load Cases

Null Tables and Default Arguments

Some operators accept variable table arguments. In this case, optional arguments are specified by passing the “null” table.

Arguments that have default values need not be specified when authoring XML, and will appear as “null” within the expression builder. Default arguments can be overridden with a new value or left unspecified and remain unchanged. String arguments can also have default values, and behave similarly to default table arguments.
