Results data can be post-processed using both HyperMesh and HyperView.
Results Data in HyperView
HyperView is a complete environment to visualize, query, and process results data.
Create Entities
Create and edit user-defined data type expressions, derived load cases, and systems. You can also plot a forming limit diagram, generate streamlines, track entities during animation, and create and import/export sets of entities.
Create Derived Results
The Expression Builder is a graphical user interface which allows user-defined data type expressions to be authored directly within HyperView.
Result Math
A result manipulation library that enables user-defined data types to be added to a result, and transitions complex data manipulation tasks from HyperView to a reusable, modifiable set of libraries that focus solely on result processing tasks.

FE Geometry

  - Working with Models
    Open animation files, measure various distances and angles between entities, and use the Results Browser to view the model structure and find, display, and edit entities.

      - Output Parameters
        The output parameters section of the Expression Builder allows you to define the data type label and output for the newly created result.
      - Operators
        The list of available operators is controlled by the template file selected when loading a model and result, and it can be modified by adding or removing <using /> statements in the template.

        Once an operator is selected, tables must be selected to form the input.

    - Derived Load Cases
      The Loadcase tool allows you to create a derived load case from other load cases, or from a combination of other load cases and simulation steps.
    - Systems
      Create your own user defined coordinate systems or select result coordinate systems.
    - FLD
      Use the FLD tool a plot a Forming Limit Diagram (FLD) based on a material Forming Limit Curve (FLC) and the major and minor strain output results of a forming simulation.

Results Browser

Once a data type has been successfully created, it is added to the attached result. The Results Browser, as well as each post-processing panel, will reflect the updated result.

The Results Browser supports addition and modification of user-defined data types via the context menu (which will be the primary method for invoking the Expression Builder dialog).
