Add a Double Action Draw Operation

Simulate a top binder holding the blank of a model while the top die deforms the blank against the bottom die to create the desired shape.

The default tools associated with Double Action draw include a top die, bottom die, and top binder.
  1. From the Tryout ribbon, click the Add operation icon.
  2. From the Add Operation window that appears, select Double Action.
    A Double Action operation is added to the Tryout ribbon.
  3. Click the Double Action operation.
    The default tools are displayed.

  4. Configure the tools for the Double Action draw.
    Tip: When working with surfaces, you can quickly select surfaces inside or outside an edge loop. When Inside edge loop or Outside edge loop is selected, clicking Create automatically selects the surface inside or outside the red loop indicator, significantly reducing model setup time.
