Add an Hydroform Operation

Simulate a top binder holding the blank of a model while fluid deforms the blank against the bottom die.

The default tools associated with Hydroform draw include a bottom die, top binder, and fluid.
  1. From the Tryout ribbon, click the Add operation icon.
  2. From the Add Operation window, select Hydroform.
    The Hydroform draw operation is added to the Tryout ribbon.
  3. Click the Hydroform draw operation.
    The default tools are displayed.

  4. Configure the tools for the Hydroform draw.
    Tip: When working with surfaces, you can quickly select surfaces inside or outside an edge loop. When Inside edge loop or Outside edge loop is selected, clicking Create automatically selects the surface inside or outside the red loop indicator, significantly reducing model setup time.
