Navigating the Graphics Window

The graphics window is used to display and interact with the model. You can zoom, rotate and pan a 3D model using the keyboard, mouse, or a combination of both.

Panning the Model

Press and hold down the right mouse button, and drag the view to pan (without magnification).

Rotating the Model

Use one of the following methods to rotate the model:
  • Press the mouse wheel and drag the view.
    Note: The rotation center point updates dynamically when clicking on the model.
  • On the View toolbar, click the Views icon and select one of the following:
    • Rotate clockwise
    • Rotate counter clockwise
    • Rotate left
    • Rotate right
    • Rotate up
    • Rotate down

Zooming to Extents

Use one of the following methods to zoom the model to extents:
  • Press F to zoom the model to the full extent of the graphics window.
  • On the View toolbar, click the Fit View icon.

Zooming In / Out

Use one of the following methods to zoom in and out:
  • Scroll the mouse wheel.
  • Press Ctrl and hold, left mouse click and drag model.
