RADIOSS Contact Parameters

Following method of contact can be defined.

  • Face-Face
  • Slave Nodes
  • Self Impact
  • General (supported withType24)

Contact Type: Following contact types are supported.
  • Friction (Type24)
  • Tie (Type2)
  • Friction + Heat Transfer (Type7)
  • Friction (Type25)

Default contact parameters can be modified in the setting “Solver Settings” dialog.

Multiple body pairs: This option allows to select multiple body pairs to define contact. This option is listed only in the manual contact definition.
