FE Geometry

  - Vehicle Safety Tools
    The Vehicle Safety Tools (VST) is a collection of over 200 macros, Templex functions, and external functions for use by a vehicle safety engineer.
    - Math
      Allows you to perform basic math operations on one, two, or three curves at a time.
    - Duration Macro
      The duration macro allows you to calculate the continuous duration for one or more curves.
    - Filter
      Contains curve filtering functions, including Butterworth, FIR, and a new SAE 1995 that are not available to regular HyperGraph users.
    - Injury
      The Injury menu offers calculations for all known injury assessment tools.
    - Units
      convert to/from common unit sets.
    - Miscellaneous
      Contains some functions that are not commonly used, such as simulating a bar chart or histogram.
    - Transforms
      Provides several functions to calculate running statistics, regressions, FFTs, etc.
    - IIHS Intrusion Templates
      The Vehicle Safety Tools preference file contains templates to plot IIHS front intrusion and IIHS side structure intrusion plots for Radioss and LS-DYNA files.
    - Pedestrian Impact
      The Pedestrian Impact tool facilitates the post-processing of pedestrian analysis.
    - Instrument Panel
      The Instrumental Panel tool facilitates the post-processing of the FMVSS201 and ECE-R21 analysis.
    - Compare Time History

    - Relative Displacement
      Allows you to transform vector results from a time history or animation result files according to a coordinate system defined by three nodes from the same result file.

      The MPDB tool offers a complete automated post processing solution of the MPDB Frontal Compatibility Assessment load case, for Radioss and LS-DYNA output files. It also has the capability to do the MPDB compatibility assessment for physical test data (scanned data) written out in STL format.

  The Altair Safety Report Manager (ASRM) is a fully customizable automatic report generation utility for crash and safety regulations.

Work with Compared Results

After comparing the requests using the Compare Time History tool, the requests violating the threshold limit are displayed in the Comparison Results Tree.

Isolate

Depending on display option chosen for HyperGraph, HyperView and HyperMesh, selected items (result requests) are isolated on the graphics.

Show

Depending on the display option chosen for HyperGraph, HyperView and HyperMesh, selected items (result requests) are displayed on the graphics.

Hide

Depending on the display option chosen for HyperGraph, HyperView and HyperMesh, selected items (result requests) are hidden on the graphics.

Delete Table

Click to delete all the data in the table. The tree will be empty.
