This tool is used to remove the tiny faces adjacent to the base face based on the specified thickness. The toggle Collapse Elements will collapse out the elements on the adjacent faces completely. Preserve boundary nodes option is used to preserve the boundary of the adjacent faces.

Steps

  1. Select a Base face.
  2. Specify the thickness.
  3. Auto toggle is turned on by default. This will display the Adjacent faces automatically based on the specified thickness. By turning off the Auto toggle will enable the Adjacent faces button. Clicking on this button will highlight the tiny faces.
  4. Click Apply/Ok will defeature the tiny faces.
