Responses
The response is a common feature for several electromagnetic solutions:

The documentation is common for all these EM solutions.
Introduction
Responses are results, that can be used to get spatial or temporal average data of the solution. Responses can either be average quantities computed over bodies or statistical values of quantities computed with result requests.

Responses can be used in an individual solution or in a solution setup DOE solution to run multiparametric analysis. Responses can be created under
The following body-based responses are currently supported:
- Relative permeability
- Magnetic field
- Magnetic Field (Magnitude, X, Y, Z)
- Magnetic Flux Density (Magnitude, X, Y, Z)
Once user selects one of the above quantities a dialog box is shown where users can select the bodies for computation and options to compute various quantities over the transient computation (Angle or time).

SimLab also supports EM responses that are computed based on the result requests the user selects. These are global quantities or quantities related to a specific component that the user can use to evaluate the solution results.
Once user clicks on EM response the following dialog is shown.

Here must select the quantities they are interested in and the statistical temporal data they want to compute (Max, Min, Avg and RMS).
Once the responses are defined they appear under results in the solution browser. Updating the solution will update the responses (if solution is successfully solved).
