This option is used where layers of elements in the faces have to conform to a profile. The user can also specify the direction along which the nodes will be projected.

Given a surface mesh that is a mapped mesh, and a curve/edge that defines a shape in one of the two directions that define the mapped mesh, then the surface mesh in this direction is modified everywhere to assume the profile of the curve.

This was specially created for applications in gasket modelling where the profile of the gasket has to be changed to conform to the shape of a curve.

Supported only for faces having iso quad mesh.

This option is used to project the nodes on to the target edges in the specified direction. The direction can be defined by Define Direction. If the direction is not specified, the nodes will be projected on to closest bar element point on the target edge.
