Introduction

The Antenna Placement is used to understand how an antenna's performance is influenced by the structure it is mounted on (for example, a vehicle or a ship).

Workflow in SimLab:

  1. Create or import a model.
  2. Set the model units.
  3. Define an antenna placement solution.
  4. Define a coordinate system for the antenna placement.
  5. Add an antenna.
  6. Mesh the model.
  7. Specify the solver settings.
  8. Define the result requests.
  9. Specify the execute options.
  10. Save the model.
  11. Solve the model and view the results.
