This tool is used to create a face between two set of edges/faces. It will identify the boundary edges and create face between them if faces are selected.

• Edges on one side

  Select the edges on one side.

• Edges on other side

  Select the edges on other side.

• Identify Connecting Edges

  Use this to identify the side edges on both side if available. User can also select the side edges manually.

• Preview

  Use this to display the boundary of the face that is going to be created. This is mainly used to check if the side edges crisscross each other.

• Flip

  Use this to flip the side edges if they crisscross each other.

• Faces on one side

  Select the faces on one side.

• Faces on other side

  Select the faces on other side.

• Connected Method
  • Shortest distance

    The elements on the face will be created based on the shortest distance between the two set of edges.

  • Direction

    The elements on the face will be created based on the given direction.

• Element Type

  Specifies the type of element as Tri or Quad.

• Number of element layers

  Specifies the number of layers the user needs.
