Current
Introduction
Current BC is used to assign constant electrical current to one or more faces.

Description
-
Electrical effects co-simulation solution option must be activated when using Current BCs. It can be activated by
- The user can select the application region by clicking on desired faces, with appropriate mouse selection control.
- The total current (in amps) will be applied evenly to all selected faces.
- Current can be either constant or variable if a multiplier table is specified during
the creation of the boundary condition.
- There are three types of multiplier tables:
- Time - Multiplier value varies as a function of time.
- Iteration - Multiplier value varies as a function of the iteration.
- Sensor – Multiplier value varies based on the selected sensor output.
- Thermostat - Multiplier value varies based on the ON/OFF status of the selected thermostat.
