QFN Mesh
This tool enables easy creation of solder joints for Quad Flat Non-Leaded (QFN) components. It supports both CAD and mesh bodies as input.
Pin bodies
Select the pin bodies as input.
Chip bodies
Select the chip bodies as input.
Mesh size
It specifies the average size of elements for newly created mesh bodies.
Create solder
Turn on this toggle to create solder for the selected pin bodies.
Pin bottom face
Select a reference face from the bottom surface of any pin.
Solder width
It defines the width of the solder that needs to be created.
Solder height
It defines the height of the solder that needs to be created.
Gap between pin and board
It defines the solder thickness extending from the pin's bottom to the board.
Number of solder element layers between pin and board
It specifies the number of hex/penta layers to be created between the pin bottom and the board.
Align the chip bodies to PCB w.r.t gap
Turn on this toggle to move the selected bodies (chip and pin) and the newly created solder bodies away from the board by the specified gap distance.
